Paul
Manship

Beginning as a naturalist under the guidance of Borglum in New York, Manship moved to Rome by winning a fellowship to the American Academy. He soon traveled to Greece and discovered the archaic style that he would pursue ever after. On his return to New York, his first exhibit sold out, and he stayed at the top of his career until the fifties.
