Charles Umlauf
1911-1994
After graduating from Chicago's Art Institute, Umlauf won several commissions in the Chicago area, some of which have recently been restored and re-installed. One piece is now the centerpiece of an outdoor courtyard in the the new Cook County (Stroger) Hospital.
